Don Robert Cline passed away peacefully on September 20, 2019 at the Andover, NH home he shared with Lorraine, his wife of 32 years. Don was a man of many talents. When he first moved from Ohio to New Hampshire, Don was a videographer and producer at Creativideo. He later began a company, Cline Conservators, at which he was a stained glass restoration expert and there are many sites around the state that display Don’s work. He was an avid bagpiper and served as President of the New Hampshire Pipes and Drums, and was a woodworker, boat builder, sailor, world traveler, excellent cook, lover of history, and photographer. In addition, Don and Lorraine have been very community and conservation-minded in their desire to protect over 40 acres of important land on Shaw Hill Road and Raccoon Hill Road with the Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust. With their 33.21-acre Cline Conservation Easement and the 17.75-acre Barclin Land Company, LLC property, along with the neighboring 55.00-acre Broshek property (all a part of Ausbon Sargent’s protected properties), the Clines have partnered to conserve over 95 contiguous acres of protected land, leaving quite a family legacy.
