Geology Hike at the Webb/Crowell Property, Sutton

Tuesday, July 13, 2021 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Explore the Webb/Crowell Forest in Sutton with geologist, Chuck Bolduc. The loop trail at Webb-Crowell is about 1.75 miles total and relatively flat. The trail follows along the Lane River for a portion, passes a large glacial erratic, and features a viewpoint of the South Sutton wetland. The talk will cover the general geologic history of the area and point out interesting geologic features at the site.
