4 pm--Confirmation of date and time TBD
This is a social "meet and greet" to offer Ausbon Sargent and many of the young professionals in our region a chance to get to know each other. As plans develop and details firm, we will share more with our readers.
Thursday, October 11, 2018--Saturday, October 13, 2018
Events run all day.
Several members of the Ausbon Sargent staff and often a Board member attend this annual event. National and regional presenters share their expertise in workshops on many topics related to land conservation. This year Rally will be held in Pittsburg, PA and Ausbon Sargent hopes to secure the grant money necessary to be able to send some representatives.
As Star Lake Farm is Ausbon Sargent's largest single property, we are excited to help them celebrate this well-deserved award on their beautiful farm. The program for the day will include walks and talks on forest management, wildlife habitat, conservation easements and Highland cattle. In the afternoon, there will be a side trip to the local saw mill. Two tents will be set up for lunch and for crafts and other activities that the children will enjoy.
Our members-only Holiday Party, held at the Coach House Restaurant at the New London Inn, is a wonderful way to kick off your holiday season. We hope you'll RSVP promptly after receiving your invitation in November as space is always limited and we'd love to see you there.
