The Brown Family's Frazier Brook Farm in Warner is in the process of being conserved. We hope to announce on the hike that protection of the Brown's property has been finalized. This beautiful 133-acre farm has quite a family history, so it was exciting for us to help the family in conserving this important land forever. Please join us on a guided hike around the property. The Ausbon Sargent Progressive Dinner is one of our most popular, members-only, annual events. You'll enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at one beautiful home, dinner at another special home and finish the evening with the entire group at a lovely dessert home. Space is limited so remember to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you receive your invitation this summer.
Center for the Arts/Ausbon Sargent Art Show
Saturday, July 28th through Sunday, August 5th
Artists from our surrounding area will be exhibiting their artwork depicting beautiful New England landscapes and other varied art. The event will be held at the Livery in Sunapee Harbor and artists have agreed to donate a portion of their commission from artwork that is sold to both Ausbon Sargent and The Center for the Arts. Specific hours for the show, driving directions and more details will be available here as we get closer to the event.

One of our favorite family events each year is our Dragonfly Hike led by Andy Deegan, Ausbon Sargent's resident authority on dragonflies and damselflies. This is fun for the entire family and very hands-on for the children as they catch and release and learn about the life and function of the dragonflies. This year's event will be co-sponsored by Ausbon Sargent and the Grantham Conservation Commission and will be held on the William Newhall and Eryn Bagley property in Grantham. Driving and parking directions will be available closer to the date of the event.

4 pm--Confirmation of date and time TBD
This is a social "meet and greet" to offer Ausbon Sargent and many of the young professionals in our region a chance to get to know each other. As plans develop and details firm, we will share more with our readers.
Thursday, October 11, 2018--Saturday, October 13, 2018
Events run all day.
Several members of the Ausbon Sargent staff and often a Board member attend this annual event. National and regional presenters share their expertise in workshops on many topics related to land conservation. This year Rally will be held in Pittsburg, PA and Ausbon Sargent hopes to secure the grant money necessary to be able to send some representatives.
As Star Lake Farm is Ausbon Sargent's largest single property, we are excited to help them celebrate this well-deserved award on their beautiful farm. The program for the day will include walks and talks on forest management, wildlife habitat, conservation easements and Highland cattle. In the afternoon, there will be a side trip to the local saw mill. Two tents will be set up for lunch and for crafts and other activities that the children will enjoy.
Our members-only Holiday Party, held at the Coach House Restaurant at the New London Inn, is a wonderful way to kick off your holiday season. We hope you'll RSVP promptly after receiving your invitation in November as space is always limited and we'd love to see you there.
