Where: Kearsarge Valley Road

Have seen same pair of Moose three times along stretch of Kearsarge Valley Road between Kearsgarge Lodge Antiques and the Sutton line. They appear to be an adult female and an adolescent (M/F?). First sighting in fall '04 while driving KVR early evening just south of Sutton line. Pair crossed road in front of me...glad I was going the speed limit. Second sighting was on Christmas Eve '04, late afternoon. Was sitting on my front steps, and the pair came out of the woods behind my house, traversed my side meadow and crossed over KVR headed west. Third sighting was on south edge of next-door neighbors' field earlier this spring, also in late afternoon. Look forward to seeing them again.
